Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions from our customers
Do you carry youth-sized shirts?
Yes, we offer t-shirts, sweatshirts and athletic apparel in youth sizes.
I don’t see the brand I want. Does that mean you can’t print or embroider it?
We can source most brands, even if you don’t see it on the site. If you don’t see a particular brand you are interested in, give us a call and we will order it for you.
Do you offer specialty American made or organic tees?
Yes. We offer both American made and organic options. If you don’t see a particular brand you are interested in, give us a call and we will order it for you.
Changes to Orders
Can I change my order once the order has been placed?
There is a small window of opportunity to make changes to your order. Please let us know of any changes as soon as possible. Adding shirts may delay the completion of your order. Changes cannot be made to the order after screen printing, DTG or embroidery has begun.
When will I receive my order?
For orders within the 48 contiguous states, we expect your order to be delivered to you in approximately 10 business days or less from the date on which your order was placed. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for orders. We hand deliver in the metro Saint Louis area, and ship all other orders via USPS and UPS from our facility in Webster Groves, Missouri. Orders are shipped Monday through Saturday with the exception of national holidays.
What if I need an order in less than two weeks?
We can often deliver more quickly than two weeks. It depends on how many orders are placed ahead of yours. For fastest fulfillment, please have your artwork in Adobe Illustrator (AI) format and have your brands, quantities and sizes ready when you contact us.
What shipping information do you need?
Standard U.S. mail postal address format is what we need (no PO boxes can be accepted). Please provide your full company name (if applicable), your full name, full street number, full street name, any and all apt, suite, floor, room or mailbox number designations, city, state, province, country and zip code.
Will you ship my order without payment?
Unless you have used a PO, your order will not be shipped without full payment. We do require resolution of any payment issues before we ship your order. We will always contact you if there’s a problem.
Can you ship my order to a Canadian address?
Not at this time.
I need help with my artwork. Can you help?
We prefer artwork to be in Adobe Illustrator (AI) format. If the artwork you provide isn’t camera ready, or requires extensive re-work we will include art charges in our price quote.
I’m not sure if this is trademarked or not…
If you aren’t sure, you probably should reconsider. Check our policies page for more information, but we will not knowingly violate trademark or copyright law. You need to own the original artwork you are interested in adding to your apparel.
What resolution should I use for pictures?
We recommend 300 DPI or higher.
How large can you print my design?
Our maximum imprint area is 13 inches wide on both the front and back of the garment. This is larger than many of the shirts that we offer, especially in Small and Medium sizes. If you place an order for multiple shirt sizes we will adjust the screen to fill the smallest shirt size.
How long will screen printing last on a shirt?
The industry standard for the longevity of screen printed shirts is around 35 washes, however, many screen printed items will last for many years. We use high quality inks that wear and wash well. We recommend machine washing your screen garments inside out in cold water and tumble drying on low.
Can you print over zippers?
Yes we can. However, the print may skew or be less clear as it would normally be if printed directly on the garment.
Can you print over sleeves?
Yes, for an additional fee. Please specify if you need a sleeve print when yo place your order. Sleeve prints can only be done on one side of the sleeve. They will not wrap around.
Can you embroider and screen print on the same garment?
Yes. Please contact us for pricing.
How is Direct to Garment (DTG) printing different from screen printing?
DTG Printing allows for more varied and photo-realistic designs to be added to shirts. It lacks the bright “sheen” that screen printing inks have, and is more of a matte finish.
Can you DTG a dark shirt?
DTG works best on white or very light colored shirts. We can DTG darker shirts, but the DTG does not render as well on dark shirts.
How are shirts priced?
Many factors go into pricing shirts. Some of the factors include quality of the blank shirt, number of shirts ordered and number of colors screened onto each shirt. Generally white, non-organic shirts are the cheapest. Shirts screened in a single color are cheaper than multiple color shirts, and the labor cost of creating a shirt is greatly reduced by creating more than one shirt. So for example creating six t-shirts screened with multiple colors on them might be priced at over $20 a piece, while the cost of ordering 75 of the same shirts would be closer to $10 each.
Does shirt size affect pricing?
Yes. Plus sizes (2XL and up) carry an up-charge starting at $1.75 per shirt.
When do I need to pay?
Payment is expected at time of order. Preferential payment arrangements are available for repeat customers and educational institutions.
Can I use a credit card to pay for my order?
Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment. Please submit accurate information; the billing address you enter must match the address your credit company has on file. Your order will not be processed without valid credit card information.
Do you accept purchase orders from schools or other organizations?
Yes. We accept purchase orders from most government, educational institutions and trusted businesses. To submit your request for payment by PO, please contact us
Will you ship my order without payment?
Unless you have used a PO, your order will not be shipped without full payment.
I plan to re-sell these shirts. Can I buy them tax free?
Yes, but we must have your tax exempt letter on file prior to accepting your order. Please email or call us for more information.
